Powder coating aluminum rims is by far the best way to protect your expensive rims and make them look great at the same time. On the left is a 20″ aluminum rim that was coated in “Plasti Dip”. On the right, is the same wheel that we media blasted, powder coated with special grey primer for aluminum then top coated with 20% gloss black. Powder coating is far and away the superior product and choice for protecting any metal parts.
